Room Acoustics Design
Room acoustics design and implementation for Berlin-based composer Viktor Orri.
The room provides acoustic support to the performing musician while minimising colouration of the instrument’s sound. The space is designed to record strings, piano and other acoustic instruments in solo and ensemble formation.
The room acoustic treatment concept features tailor-made porous absorbers, resonant absorbers and a combination of geometric and quadratic-residue diffusers to minimise colouration. Developed in partnership with architect Pierre Guibert.
