Room Acoustics Design
Composer Hildur Guðnadóttir’s studio in Berlin. The room is an environment which has a neutral sound field from the listening position perspective, suitable to work with loudspeakers. It is also optimised to have a comfortable and supportive acoustic response for rehearsing and recording acoustic instruments within the mid and rear portion of the room.
The room acoustic treatment concept features tailor-made porous absorbers, resonant panels and Quadratic Residue Diffusers.
Developed in partnership with architect Pierre Guibert.
